F. “Daniel” Ditty, age 38, of Greenville passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at his home.
Daniel was born February 13, 1987 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of Melanie Thorn and Franklin Ditty. Daniel had such a big heart, he was always helping others with hard work when he did not need to. He had a big, beautiful smile that would light up a room. Daniel loved to hunt and play video games. Daniel was a kid at heart.
Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Ditty who passed in 2015. Daniel is also preceded in death by his uncle Ted Thorn and his grandmother Linda Thorn.
Daniel is survived by his son, Jordan Ditty, and his mother, Melanie Thorn. He leaves behind his sister, Karlisa Ditty. Daniel is also survived by his nieces, Kaylynn Garland and Adylynn Garland, and his nephew, Remington Covault.
A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at a later date at the family’s discretion. A burial will also be held at a later date at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
