GREENVILLE — Experience an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony at Greenville Public Library!
On Wednesday, October 8 at 5:30 p.m., we will be hosting Jesse Berry, co-owner of Blue Lantern Tea, who will demonstrate an authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony. During the demonstration, he will discuss tea and tea culture, all while his wife, Kim, the other co-owner, serves delicious samples. If you are a lover of tea or Japanese culture, you won’t want to miss this free event!
The Japanese Tea Ceremony is a centuries-old tradition where matcha, a powdered green tea, is served in a tranquil, meditative environment. Due to this, we recommend this program to ages 10 and up only. Any questions can be directed to Nikki by calling the library.
Blue Lantern Tea is located at 106 North Broadway in Greenville. For more information, visit their website, bluelanterntea.com .
