
DARKE COUNTY, OH — On Friday, October 3rd, 687 students from all eight Darke County schools participated in National Manufacturing Day, gaining an inside look at local industries that power our community and our economy.
Students from Ansonia, Arcanum, Franklin Monroe, Greenville Career Tech, Bradford, Tri-Village, Versailles, and Mississinawa Valley had the opportunity to step inside some of Darke County’s leading manufacturers to learn about careers, innovation, and the future of manufacturing—right here at home.
“Experiences like Manufacturing Day help inspire the next generation of talent,” said Olivia Schmitmeyer. “By connecting students directly with local employers, we’re showing them that exciting, high-tech, and rewarding careers exist right in their own backyard.”
