GREENVILLE — On Thursday, October 16 at 1 p.m., stop by the library for a free showing of the 1969 western, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford, this classic film is rated PG with a run time of 1 hour and 50 minutes. Earlier this year, Redford stated that this film, along with The Sting, were two of his favorites due to the fact that Newman, a close friend of his, co-starred in them. Patrons are encouraged to bring their favorite movie snacks and drinks, as well as a sweater for anyone who finds themselves easily chilled.
Classic Movie Matinees are shown on the third Thursday of each month at 1 p.m., so mark your calendars now for the rest of our 2025 movies! November’s pick is Last of the Mohicans, December will feature Holiday Inn. We hope to see you there!
