Academic Growth & Student Success
- 15 students earned perfect scores on state tests
- Nearly 28% of high school students are earning college credit
- Our most at-risk students are showing growth above state expectations
Focus Areas for Growth
We’re prioritizing early literacy, where we’ve already reduced the number of off-track readers by 62 students and increased on-track readers by 8%. We’re also closely monitoring academic progress in reading and math and will use upcoming detailed data to guide targeted support.
Beyond the Report Card
While report cards are one measure of success, they don’t capture the full story. Greenville students shine in:
- Career Tech programs with national recognition
- Award-winning music and arts programs
- Nationally recognized NJROTC
- Community events like the Waves of Pride arts showcase
Greenville City Schools is grateful for having a community and parents who value education. Valuing education means making school attendance a priority. Attendance is one of the single most important factors in students being successful. Working together, teachers, administrators and parents can ensure that our children have the best education experience possible.
