GREENVILLE, OH ─ Mehek Cooke will headline the Darke County Republican Hog Roast on October 19. The Darke County Republican Hog Roast is a long-standing Darke County tradition that provides a free sausage sandwich meal to the public. The event will be held in the Community Pavillion on the Darke County Fairgrounds. Doors will open at noon and the program begins at 1 p.m.
Mehek Cooke is the President of American Frontier Strategies, a lawyer and media consultant. Born in India but raised in Ohio, Mehek’s ethnic and legal background give her a unique perspective on politics.
Mehek has been a pivotal figure in addressing crises during her tenure in the Ohio Governor’s Office such as the release of dangerous wild animals in Zanesville, Ohio and serving as legal counsel for a high-profile death penalty case. She also worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio tackling criminal cases involving corruption, terrorism, drug trafficking, asset forfeiture, and money laundering.
Beyond the law, Mehek serves as a surrogate for the Republican National Committee and media commentator for Americans for Prosperity. She has emerged as a leading voice, offering commentary on breaking news such as Ohio’s largest corruption scandal, and developments in cases like Jeffrey Epstein, and the Department of Justice Special Counsel Robert K. Hur’s report.
