Meet Blake, we believe an adorable 1-year-old Doodle mix with a heart full of love and paws ready for his forever home! Blake came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. His previous adopter, an older gentleman, realized that Blake’s youthful energy was more than he could handle. But don’t worry Blake is nothing short of a sweetheart! Blake owner told us that he is good with kids but does not know his size, he is housebroken, and crate trained. He’s a gentle, affectionate boy who we think would make a perfect dog for someone looking for a loving companion. So far, Blake has shown us that: he knows how to sit, shake, loves to play ball, enjoys treats and attention. He is currently learning to walk on a leash and does not seem to mind other dogs here at the shelter. Blake is ready to leave his past behind and find a forever home where he can thrive and be loved. Could that be with you? Blake did great for his exam where he weighs in at 42 lbs.
