The Darke County Animal Shelter has 3 new dogs waiting for their fur-ever homes.
All dogs were given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, are dewormed and are heartworm negative. All dogs are microchipped.
The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331. The visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. You can reach the Shelter at 937-547-1645.
Say hello to Ted! We believe Ted id 2-year-old intact male Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a nose for treats! Ted came to us as a stray, so we don’t know much about his past but what we do know is that this sweet boy is ready to find his forever family. Ted already knows how to sit and is a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! He’s working hard on his leash manners and making progress every day. While Ted can be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up with gentle encouragement and kindness. He also doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter.
