Congratulations to the Versailles FFA members who competed in the State FFA Parliamentary Procedure Contest on Saturday, December 6th at Delaware Career Center.
As part of the novice Parliamentary Procedure contest, each team, consisting of eight members, was responsible for completing a 15 minute demonstration of parliamentary procedure that included using different abilities, motions and opening ceremonies. Each student also took a test and answered oral questions that assessed their knowledge of rules of order related to parliamentary procedure.
The Versailles FFA Novice parliamentary procedure team finished 3rd. The team consisted of President-Abby Wilker, Vice-President Simon Broering, Secretary-Vera Pearson, Treasurer Symone Wehrkamp, Reporter Blake Pitsenbarger, Sentinel Blair Schellhase, Student Advisor Elizabeth Grieshop and member Lydia Breeze. This team advanced to state after placing 2nd in the district.
