GREENVILLE – Beginning Monday, January 12, Greenville Public Library will be hosting our annual Winter Reading Challenge for readers of all ages!
We’ll be holding a kickoff event on the 12th from 3 to 5 p.m., complete with a hot chocolate bar and cookies!
Everyone in the family is welcome to read for prizes during our Winter Read, which runs from January 12 until February 28. Adults, children, teens, and families are able to join in on the prize-winning together! And just like in previous years, participants can pick which prize they’d like to win! There will be eight themed prize baskets to choose from, with each entry being placed in the drawing of your choice.
The adult challenge will require each reader to fill out a slip for every book, audiobook, or magazine you check out. Children and families can participate by picking up an activity sheet and completing the tasks in order to earn entry slips. And teens can choose to enter using either method!
This year’s prize baskets include themes for all ages. From gardening and cooking to Lego and Crayola, there’s an exciting prize available that everyone can look forward to making their own. Just by reading!
