Billy we believe to be a beagle/blue heeler mix around a year and half old. Billy walks well on a leash, he knows basic commands, likes to play fetch but good luck on him returning it to you. Billy loves attention and does not mind the other dogs here at the shelter, he tips the scale at 35 lbs. We believe Bow to be a Shepherd mix who had been well taken care of until the time his owner allowed him to run at large. Bows nails have been kept trimmed, he is neutered, extremely friendly and loves attention. Bow do not seem to mind the other dogs in the shelter and walks well on a leash.Say hello to Dutch. We believe him to be a 4 yr old male Pitbull mix. Dutch enjoys attention and being by your side as he has issues seeing. Dutch is extremely friendly and did great for his exam. Hunters story is a sad one. Based on his behavior we do not believe he has been socialized much or treated well! Hunter will allow you to do just about what ever you want to him with out showing any emotion, reaction, are acknowledgment. He displays zero aggression to people or other dogs, and appears to be afraid of his own shadow as he is very shy. After some time hunter does start to come around as we have been working with him since December 9, he will need an owner with patients, time, and a willingness to correct his previous owners negligence. We believe Hunter to be a 5 yr old coon hound. Luke we believe to be a shepherd mix around 7 yrs old until he was left to wounder until picked up by a dog warden. Luke has been taken care of at one time as his nails have been kept short, he is neutered, super friendly, great on a leash, very sociable, loves attention, and doesn’t mind other dogs. Luke tips the scales at 60lbs.Gloria needs your HELP!!!!!! After 147 day Gloria needs your help, she has spent 1/3 of a year at the shelter, Gloria is are longest tenured resident, and doggy jail is getting to be a bit much for her as potential adopters will not giver her the time of day. Gloria’s history is a mystery as she came to us as a stray. She has shown us she is very treat motivated, doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter, walks well on a leash here at the shelter, very affectionate one she gets out of her kennel and is given a min to stretch and blow off some steam. We believe Gloria to be a 2.5 yr old shepherd mix and will need someone willing to work with her as she has spent over a third of a yr in doggy jail.
