Bonnie M. Loper, age 93, of Greenville, formerly of Laura, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Brethren Retirement Community. She was born June 9, 1932 to Ray & Etta (Hudson) Whittle in Nancy, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Johnnie R. Loper; son Johnnie Ray Loper; sisters May Yosic, Faye Sandy and Lois Lough; brothers Edd, Lawrence, Elza, JC, Jess, Roy, and Charles Whittle.
She will be missed and remembered by her loving son Gerald Loper; daughter-in-law Sharon Loper; grandchildren April (Tom) Jennings, Shonda (Nathan) Ferguson, Amber Loper, and Ashley Loper; great grandchildren Damian Ray (Katlynn Lee), Daniel Jennings, Caleb and Paige Wintrow, Connor Crawford, Harlee Burns, Odette Ferguson, and Jaxson Coate; great great grandchildren Liam Cline, Ayla Ray, and Quinley Darner; siblings Sue Truesdale, Judy Whittle, and Jimmy Whittle.
Bonnie had a love of gardening and could grow about anything as well as cooking which she took great pride in.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami St, West Milton with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.
