The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating and working with the Darke County Park District on a report of property damage and a missing Hawk at the Shawnee Prairie, located on State Route 502 west of Greenville.
It was reported that a fenced in area for the rescued Hawks was damaged sometime overnight, and a female red-tailed hawk named “Spirit” has gotten out of the cage and is missing.
