The Arcanum Police Department is asking for residents’ cooperation as snow removal efforts continue throughout the Village.
If you have a vehicle parked on the street with snow piled up around it, please voluntarily move the vehicle as soon as possible. Vehicles left in place prevent crews from fully clearing snow and widening travel lanes.
Why this matters:
Vehicles that remain parked in the same location for extended periods—especially during snow events—slow snow removal and create narrowed and unsafe roadways.
Important notice:
Beginning Monday, February 9, the Arcanum Police Department will begin making contact with residents regarding vehicles that remain parked on the street in snow piles so snow removal can be completed.
We appreciate the community’s cooperation as we work to keep streets safe and accessible for residents, emergency vehicles, and snow removal crews.
