The Darke County Animal Shelter has 5 new dogs and a long-time resident waiting for their fur-ever homes.
All dogs were given Bordatella, parvo/lepto/distemper vaccines, are dewormed and are heartworm negative. All dogs are microchipped.
The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville OH. 45331. The visiting hours are Monday- Friday 8am- 11:45am and 1pm- 4pm. You can reach the Shelter at 937-547-1645.
Milk Dud came to us as a stray running at large on the Miami-Darke county line, so our knowledge about her is limited to what we have observed. Milk Dud is a sweet girl who we believe to be a lab mix around a year old. She is extremely sweet and enjoys attention. Milk Dud does not seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter and does warm up if given time. Milk Dud did great for her exam, she tips the scales at 67 lbs. Milk Dud has been given a parvo/lepto/distemper vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, she is heartworm negative, microchipped, and looking for a forever home.Give a warm welcome to Mocca. We were told Mocca is a lab mix that is approximately 4 yrs, she loves car rides and playing ball. Mocca does not seem to mind the other dogs in the shelter, she is a sweet girl the likes attention and is not one to be ignored. Mocca did great for her exam. She has received a Parvo/lepto/distemper vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heart worm negative, microchipped and tips the scale at 46.5 lbs.Say hello to Scooter. Scooter, we believe her to be a Poodle mix around 4 yrs old. She is quiet and laid back here in the shelter. Again, our knowledge is limited as she was picked up running at large. Scooter does not seem to mind the other dogs in the shelter and is accepting of the attention you are willing to give here. Scooter has been given her Parvo/lepto/distemper vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, heart worm negative, microchipped and tips the scale at 46.5 lbs.Say hello to Zeus. We are told he is a Rottweiler mix that is approximately 4 yrs old and that he is good with other dogs, likes care rides and playing ball. Zeus does not mind the other dogs here at the shelter. He did great for his exam. Zeus is going stir crazy here at the shelter, he is extremely friendly and craves attention. Zeus tips the scales at 79 lbs. He has been given his Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, he is heart worm negative, and Microchipped. Daisy came to us as a stray running at large on farm where no one resided on the Miami-Darke county line, so our knowledge about her is limited to what we have observed. Daisy is a sweet girl who we believe to be a lab mix around a year old. She is extremely sweet and enjoys attention. Daisy does not seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Daisy did great for her exam, she tips the scales at 55.5 lbs. Daisy has been given a parvo/lepto/distemper vaccine, a Bordetella vaccine, she is heart worm negative, microchipped, and looking for a forever home.
