
At the February 19th FFA meeting, students voted on the 2026-2027 FFA officers. Afterwards students had the opportunity to have hot dogs, chips and dip, and ice cream. Also at this meeting, there were two FFA members selected as February’s FFA members of the month, and they are Ben Pitsenbarger and Nathan Timmerman.
Ben Pitensbarger is a junior and four year member. He has participated in monthly meetings, beef and pork tent, leadership night, farm to fork, fruit sales, fall harvest sales, state convention, and shop and crop. He has participated in the novice parli pro, agronomy, and soils CDEs. His SAE consists of job placement at First Choice Ag and among the top 4 in the state in his proficiency award area in Ag Services placement Ben is the son of Matt and Emily Pitsenbarger. He received a shirt and certificate. Congratulations to Ben Pitsenbarger for being selected as FFA member of the month.
Nathan Timemerman is a junior and four year member. He has participated in monthly meetings, state and national convention, omelet breakfast, leadership night, greenhand conference, beef and pork tent, shop and crop, and fall harvest sale. He has participated in the Outdoor Power, Tractor Troubleshooting, and Novice Parli Pro CDEs. His SAE consists of job placement on Heckman Farms and raising dairy steers. Nathan is among the top 4 in the state in the organic proficiency award. Nathan is the son of Gary and Barb Timmerman , and he also received a shirt and certificate. Congrats to Nathan Timmerman for this month’s FFA member of the month.
