Coy F. Buirley, 69 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday March 13, 2026, at 11:20 PM at his residence. Coy was born November 4, 1956, in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Wilbur and Lucy (Schmidt) Thwaits.
Coy was a truck driver; a member of the Treaty City Motorcycle Club; he was a fun-loving guy who never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone.
Coy is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Vickie Harter; his brother, Park Sabroff.
Coy is survived by wife, Rose (Walker) Lester-Buirley; his daughters and son in law, Hayley Buirley, and Chelsea and Dave Mann; his step children and spouses, Aaron and Amanda Lester, and Ryan and Aleshia Lester; his grandson, Mac Mann; his step grandchildren, Dylan, Gabe, and Avery Lester; his siblings; Allen Thwaits, Pam Wasson, and Tina Cruikshank.
A memorial service celebration of life for Coy will be held on Saturday March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at J & J Enterprises 3875 State Route 502 Greenville, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help off set funeral expenses.
