The Darke County Animal Shelter has 5 new dogs looking for “their” human, who wants to give them a loving home!
All of them got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are dewormed, heartworm negative and microchipped.
The Shelter’s adoption fees are $90 cash/check. Their visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday 9am-11:30 am. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Max came to us as an owner surrender, due to no fault of his own. We have been told that Max is a 2 1/2-year-old neutered male German Shepherd mix. Max’s owner told us that he is great with kids, dogs, cats, and is housebroken and crate trained. Max enjoys going for car rides and going into Rural King. Max knows how to sit, loves treats and attention. Max walks great on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Max did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 80 lbs.Tucker came to us as an owner surrender, due to no fault of his own. We have been told that Tucker is a 6 1/2-year-old intact male Labrador Retriever mix. Tucker’s owner told us that he is great with kids. Tucker loves treats and attention. Tucker is learning how to walk on a leash and doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Tucker did great for his bath and exam where he weighs in at 104.3 lbs.Bruce – This sweet pup came to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own. We are told that this is a 9- week- old Labrador Mix, We have 2 males and 1 female. We are told they are great with kids and other dogs, and never been around cats.
