Appalachian Road Show

Appalachian Road Show invites you to come and sit a spell as the band shares its dynamic musicianship through songs and stories emanating from the mountains and hollers of North Carolina and Virginia to the coal mines of West Virginia and Kentucky. This music is so vibrant, and it has its own vitality and its own life, and they mean to carry that forward.

Artist Series

Luke McMaster

Singer-songwriter Luke McMaster has always thrilled audiences with his soulful tenor voice, but has now taken the Motown influence that imbues his music to a new level. His first big mark as a solo artist in 2013 came with the hit song “Good Morning Beautiful,” which remained among the top on the Billboard chart for 15 weeks. Hey Mavis

Sons of Serendip

Described as “the most musically talented act on the show” among the finalists on America’s Got Talent, Sons of Serendip inspire audiences with their unique sound. The dynamic quartet consists of a harpist, cellist, pianist, and vocalist, all amazingly talented and versatile; their “classical” arrangements of popular songs will thrill and entertain all those who love good music.

Toledo Symphony

Always a much-anticipated part of the DCCA season, TSO returns to St. Clair Memorial Hall, bringing back its exceptionally talented musicians and melodious repertoire of innovative and inspirational compositions. TSO, now in its 77th season, reaches an audience of more than 260,000 annually and has built a strong national reputation for its artistic excellence and community programming.

Acoustic Eidolon

What do you get when you cross 14 strings, two necks and a cello with attitude? Meet Acoustic Eidolon consisting of cellist Hannah Alkire and her husband Joe Scott, who invented the guitjo (think acoustic guitar strung like a banjo); the versatile duo tour the world spreading their joyful noise.

Elden Kelly

With a strong grounding both in traditional genres and fusions, Kelly mixes classical, world music and jazz to evoke traces of Latin, American roots, flamenco, and Indian music underpinned by modern swing, African polyrhythms and cross-cultural grooves. Fundraisers

Downtown Ghost Walk

This will be a self-guided tour.

Local storytellers are stationed at various locations to share spooky stories as participants move around downtown Greenville. Traditional favorite narratives will be joined by new discoveries to add to the not-too-scary fun.

Cemetery Ghost Walk

Learn of the past glory, disgrace, tragedy and triumph of some of Greenville’s most renowned and notorious citizens as guides lead you to the final resting places of these fascinating former local residents. Groups form at Greenville Union Cemetery Mausoleum.

‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
