The Darke County Sheriff’s Office and Greenville Police Department are advising citizens of a scheduled training exercise that will occur at Family Health Services 5735 Meeker Road Greenville, Ohio tomorrow afternoon, October 27, 2022.
This is a planned training exercise in cooperation with Family Health Services and their staff. There will be a significant law enforcement presence and numerous public safety vehicles in the area for training purposes.
The participants of this exercise wish to notify local citizens so they are aware that this event is for training purposes only. This type of full-scale exercise helps local first responders and healthcare facilities test particular objectives, prepare for an actual event and provide realistic training opportunities for participants. It promotes interagency training and working together as a team.
At the conclusion of the training, agencies will review and critique the event for future learning and training purposes.
