JUNE 9, 1959 – NOVEMBER 14, 2022
Paula Sue Stewart, age 63 of Ansonia, Ohio passed away suddenly on Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home. Born in Dayton, Ohio on June 9, 1959, she was a daughter to the late Art & Betty (Perry) Miller. Paula loved her friends and family more than anything and was very proud of her children. She made sure they always knew that. She loved Kentucky (“Down Home”) and especially Lexington where she first started as a groom on a race horse farm. One of her greatest accomplishments was graduating from Wright State University, with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She helped get a new assisted living facility started in Troy, OH and served as Director of the Darke County Adult Daycare. She had a love for all animals, kids and plants. Paula enjoyed doing crafts and sewing with her long-time friend Anne. She was a great cook and won many ribbons for canning at the Darke County Fair. In her free time she liked to play guitar and piano and watch her soap operas. She is remembered for having the kindest heart, taking care of others before herself, and never asking for anything in return. She will forever be missed.
Survived by her daughter Lindsey (Allen) Newbauer: son Richard (Tomi) Holsapple: sister Syann (Mike) Neal: special niece Ivy Neal: and her beloved “Wild Bunch” of cats.
A celebration of Paula’s Life will be held at a later date in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to offset expenses.
