Penniah “Penny” Pearson

April 24, 1941  –  November 20, 2022

Penniah “Penny” Pearson, 81, of Hollansburg Ohio, passed away on November 20, 2022, at her residence.

She was born in Richmond, Indiana on April 24, 1941, to the late Cecil and Thelma (Wolf) Hardwick.

In addition to her parents, Penniah was preceded in death by her twin boys, Ronald and Raymond Pearson.

Penniah is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Pearson, whom she married on November 7, 1959; her children, Lisa (Pavel) Sedlacek of Hollansburg and Julie (Steve) Chrismer of Lakengren; her grandchildren, Christopher (Kristina) Grider, Heather (Richard) Gragorace, Chelsea (Jayson) Barley and Samantha (Derek) Lucas; her 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Bonnie Lewis as well as numerous nieces, nephew and friends.

Penniah will be remembered as a sharp dressed lady who loved to spend time eating and shopping with her friends. She enjoyed cooking and keeping up with what was happening in the community. Penniah worked in the kitchen at the Brethren Retirement Community for 25 years. She attended Cedar Grove Church and was a member of the BINGO Girls. She and Don enjoyed “Clowning” and entertaining the children each fall at the Brethren’s Home.

A celebration of Penniah’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, New Madison Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating.

Guests may visit with Penniah’s family on Tuesday from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
