Cancer Association of Darke County recently received a check for $3,000 from Darke County Foundation. The foundation’s mission is dedicated to improving the quality of life in Darke County by receiving, managing and distributing charitable gifts for the benefit of local residents. They recently held a Sunshine 5 K Run and Team Addie’s Girl ran/walked for Cancer Association of Darke County.
The Run was very successful and the foundation was able to give $3,000 to the Cancer Association to help Darke County cancer patients.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director and Treasurer, we thank the foundation and those who walked/ran in the event. These much needed monies will be used to reimburse patients for transportation, medication, medical supplies and nutritional supplements.
