The Greenville Republican Central Committee met this evening and has appointed Christy Hole to fill the remainder of former at-large City Councilman Brian Brown, who resigned September 30th.
Christy is employed as Senior Clinical Sales Manager for GE Healthcare and has been with them for the past 27 years in various roles. She has lived in Greenville for over 40 years, graduating from Greenville High School.
She has long been active in the Greenville community, having served as secretary for the Greenville Girls Softball Association, as well as coaching youth in softball, basketball, and volleyball. Christy is a member of the Elks Lodge, serving on their scholarship committee as well as chair of the annual Hoop Shoot Contest.
She will apply her professional skills and experience in serving our community, and will enthusiastically serve in a most diligent, honorable, and professional manner.
My administrative team, including City Auditor Kim Davis, Law Director Mike Rieman, and Safety Service Director Ryan Delk, all look forward to working with Christy as she serves our citizens on our City Council.
Jeff Whitaker, Mayor
