GPL website gets an exciting upgrade!

GREENVILLE – Greenville Public Library is excited to announce the launch of our new website!

Our web address will remain the same but will now take patrons to a much more user-friendly site that matches the beauty of our historic library.

Some of the new features are a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page, a calendar with the ability to send events straight to your phone or be shared on your favorite social media outlet, and much more! The new site is very much a work-in-progress so feedback is welcomed.

“We want to make this transition as smooth as possible for both patrons and staff,” Marketing Specialist Amanda Olson said. “This site has so much more to offer, so we hope the community will embrace the change and work with us to make it the best it can be.”

Amanda, along with Warren Richards, IT Coordinator, have put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the website functions at a level reflective of an institution such as GPL.

“Being one of the few remaining Carnegie libraries, we felt it was integral to include the façade of our lovely library as one of the first things our patrons see,” Warren said. “This much needed facelift will help bring this historic library into the modern age. We are excited to offer a more convenient and patron focused website to the public.”

The website is live now and can be found at greenville-publiclibrary.org . For more information, call Amanda at (937) 548-3915 or fill out a contact form on the new site via the Contact tab.
