On November 4th, 2025 at approximately 6:38 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Anderson
Avenue in reference to a complaint of shots fired in the listed area. Upon arrival to the area, Officers located
a male subject with a suspected gun shot wound. Officers located a firearm at the scene. Officers and medical
personnel were able to confirm the male subject was deceased at the scene. The male subject was located in
the area of his residence and this incident does not appear to be criminal in nature. The investigation remains
open but there does not appear to be any suspects in this case. The area is safe and police have released the
scene. The Greenville Police Department asks the public to give space to the family or victims involved in
this incident. The Greenville Police Department also asks that anyone ever needing to speak with someone to
