GREENVILLE, OHIO – Financial Achievement Services (FAS) is proud to announce the kickoff of its annual December Charity Supply Drive, an initiative that invites clients and members of the community to drop off essential items in support of a local nonprofit organization. Each year, the firm matches all donations received, doubling the impact for those in need.
This year, FAS is honored to partner with Grace Resurrection Community Center (GRCC), a collaborative ministry that provides vital services to individuals and families facing hardship, including a Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry, Clothing Bank, Resource Referral Services, Medical Fee Assistance in cooperation with Family Health, and a Backpack Program for students.
GRCC has shared that the greatest needs this season include shelf-stable food items, such as canned fruits & vegetables, canned proteins, soups, pasta, rice, peanut butter, and boxed meals. Also needed are toiletries and personal care items, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and household cleaning supplies. These personal care essentials are especially important, as they cannot be purchased with food stamps, making community contributions critical.
“We look forward to this drive every year, as it gives us the opportunity to work together with our clients and neighbors to support an organization making a profound difference,” said Phillip Pierri, President of Financial Achievement Services. “Grace Resurrection Community Center serves our community in essential ways, and we are proud to assist in supporting their mission.”
From December 1st to December 31st, community members can drop off donations to the FAS office at 5116 Children’s Home Bradford Rd, Greenville, OH 45331. Donations can be brought inside during normal office hours, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
FAS will deliver the donated items GRCC at the conclusion of the drive and provide a matching contribution.
Grace Resurrection Community Center’s mission is to provide food for the hungry, drink to the thirsty, clothing for the naked, shelter for the homeless, health care for the indigent sick and a Christian atmosphere to provide or further relationships with Christ by being of service to all people of Darke County in need.
