Domestic
On November 10, 2025, at 2214 hours, I was dispatched to 400 Union Street in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival I made contact with Tabitha Hodge. Tabitha stated there was an argument between her and her husband, Nathan Hodge. She stated this argument began when she came into the house to ask Nathan to go fill the propane tank she was using to heat the garage, where she was sleeping for the night. Nathan arrived a short time later and advised the same. Both stated this was a verbal altercation and not physical. No children were present during this incident.
Wanted Person
On November 17th, 2025, I located Sofia Smith at the Darke County Courthouse. Smith had an active warrant through the Greenville Police Department for FTA on a domestic violence charge with no bond. Smith’s warrant was confirmed through dispatch. Smith was placed into handcuffs that were gap checked for tightness and double locked. Smith was transported to the Darke County Jail and left with on duty staff. The rear of my cruiser was checked before and after transport with no contraband located.
Wanted Person
On November 17th, 2025, at approximately 2015 hours I was dispatched to 5805 Jaysville Saint Johns Road in reference to a wanted person, Tyler Gear. Tyler called the Darke County Sheriff’s Office and stated he knew he has a warrant and asked what his bond is. The Darke County Sheriff’s Office pinged Tyler’s phone and it showed he was at the listed address. Dispatch checked Tyler through LEADS/NCIC and confirmed Tyler has an active arrest warrant through the Greenville Police Department for failure to appear for trial for Domestic Violence with a bond of $5,025. Upon arrival I made contact with Tyler, and I placed him in handcuffs. The handcuffs were double locked and gap checked. I placed Tyler in the back seat of my cruiser and transported him to the Darke County Jail. Tyler was released to jail staff. The backseat of my cruiser was checked before and after the transport, I found nothing.
Domestic
BCI only between Kylie Bradfield and Gina Laprairie. Kylie and Gina are daughter and mother who reside at the listed address and were in a verbal argument. No signs or claims of a physical altercation. Both parties stayed at the residence. No children were present.
