On November 11, Greenville Elementary proudly hosted its second annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast. The event saw an incredible turnout of nearly 300 guests, surpassing last year’s attendance. The morning was filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt connections.
It was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on the faces of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and parents who have served our country. Families traveled from near and far to be together and honor their loved ones on this special day of remembrance. All branches of the military were represented, with Veterans spanning multiple decades of service. Our kindergarten students contributed beautifully by creating crafts representing each branch of the military, which were displayed throughout their hallway. They also showcased photos of military family members alongside their students, making the tribute even more personal and touching. One of the most inspiring parts of the morning was witnessing total strangers share memories, compare experiences, and form new friendships.
This event has quickly become a treasured Greenville Elementary tradition, one that we look forward to celebrating for many years to come.
