Wow, just wow! Main Street Greenville wants to thank the Community members and businesses that participated in the June Shopping Promotion.
Everybody who spent over $50 at one of the 30 participating businesses in downtown Greenville was tracked and his (or her) “ticket” was in the basket, waiting to be drawn.
GOP Mayor candidate and Main Street Greenville Board Member Jeff Whitaker was drawing the lucky winner out the 2,545 tickets in the basket.
The lucky winner is Karl Warner!
The most entries had Country Side Bike Shop, second was the Better You Boutique and third Michaels Clocks.
Rachael Neal had the best guess what business had the most entries (Country Side Bike Shop had more than 1,000 entries). Angie Beumer guessed the closest number of the entire entries. 2,545 entries, each one of them representing a purchase of $50 or more in the month of June at the participating businesses equals a total amount of $127,250 PLUS. What a success.
