Effective at 4:30 PM December 15, 2025 the Level 1 Snow Advisory is canceled for Darke County.
Most state routes have been cleared of snow but many county and township roads are still snow and ice covered.
There are areas of blowing snow in the open areas of the county.
The extreme cold and lack of sunshine has made it difficult for road crews to clear the roads completely.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and allow extra time for travel especially on secondary roads.
