Linda J. Mills, age 78 of Union City, Indiana passed away peacefully at 11:15 AM on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Randolph Nursing Home, Winchester, Indiana. Born in St. Mary’s, Ohio on October 22, 1944 she was a daughter to the late John & Alma (Berning) Davis. Linda had worked at Shellar Globe, Ben Franklin, as a bank teller for City Savings Bank and then retired from Romar Professional Services in medical billing in 2022. She had been a Girl Scout leader for several years. In her free time she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be truly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mills: stillborn brother Garhardt Davis: brother in law John Mills: sister in law Ann Davis.
Linda is survived by her children Leslie & Gary Zimmers; Stanton & Aimee Mills: grandchildren: Tyler & Laura Saavedra Lopez Mills; Landry & Dylan Doppler; Hailey Mills; Lyndsee Mills: a great grandson on the way: siblings John Davis; Terry & Charlotte Davis; Fred Davis & Chris Stalzer; Dixie Mortimer; Jenny & Gary Heffner: sister in law Catherine Mills: special neighbor Beth Henry: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Services for Linda are to be private per her wishes. Burial at Union City Cemetery, Union City, Indiana.
