The Darke County Animal Shelter has a new dog available for adoption.
He got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and is heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645.
Mongo came to us as a stray so our knowledge about him is very limited, and what we do know is ONLY from what we have observed here at the shelter. We believe Mongo is a 2-year-old, intact male Alaskan Malamute Mix. Mongo is a very sweet boy who eats up all your attention! Mongo does not seem to want to play, he just wants all your love! Mongo is learning to walk on a leash and doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter. Mongo was a sweetheart for his bath, nail trim and exam where he weighed in at 70lbs
