DARKE COUNTY- With nine games in the books, Arcanum has been able to gain access to the 2023 football playoff picture.
Heading into Friday nights action the Trojans will travel to Bradford and a lot will be on the line.
Despite losing to Tri-Village, 48-6, Bradford held on to the 12 spot while the Trojans fell into the 14th spot after posting a 47-7 victory over the Dixie Greyhounds.
A Bradford victory will ensure a playoff game while the Trojans will, in all likelihood, beS eliminated. A Trojan victory will keep Arcanum in and probably won’t hurt the Roaders.
If evertyhing stays the same, Bradford will travel to play the #6 Southeastern Trojans while Arcanum will hit the road to play #3 West Liberty Salem.
Tri-Village remained sixth and will possibley be hosting #12 Parkway from the MAC while another MAC team, Versailles would host #15 Dixie.
Ansonia jumped over Marion Local after taking down Preble Shawnee 48-20.
Now number one, the Tigers would host Cincinnati Lockland.
Friday, Versailles will host Minster,.while the Patriots will visit National Trail.
Ansonis, the only undefeated team in the county will play host to Mississinawa Valley.
After Friday, everything will be decided.
