Lamb, Mary Louise, age 93, of Arcanum, departed this earth on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
She was born in Wapakoneta, OH on October 10, 1930, to Pauline (Reier) and Alfred Dieringer. Her mother passed when she was seven and she was blessed with her step-mother, Edna, who was a wonderful mother. She married her childhood sweetheart, Stanley “Bud” Lamb, and they built a life together that lasted 73 years. Their love was evident and proved a role model for their children to follow.
After dad’s death in 2022 she counted the days until she could hold him in her arms again. Mary became a working mother in the 1960’s, retiring from Kmart in 1992. She was a talented seamstress and spent her retired years creating beautiful quilts that she passed down to her children. Her proudest job was being mom to her six children, Pamela (Danny) Myers, Douglas (Sandy) Lamb, Debra (Rod) Sease, Kim (Gene) Young, Stanley, Jr., and Lisa (Alan) Hartzell; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren & 14 great-great-grandchildren.
At her request, Mary will be buried next to Stanley as part of a private graveside service that will be held at the convenience of the family.
