Laughead, David Allen, Sr., age 78, of Arcanum, passed away December 22, 2023, in Middletown.
David was a hardworking loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 1992, his parents Charles and Anna Laughead.
David attended West Carrolton High School and later pursued higher education at Wright State University. He proudly served in the United States Airforce from 1967-1969. Throughout his career, David worked as a graphic artist in the printing industry. He displayed exceptional talent and creativity in his profession. In his free time, David enjoyed taking care of the family property and woodwork crafts. He was an expert tinkerer and could fix nearly anything. He loved his chainsaws and was a master of felling trees. David found solace in his faith and was a member of Abbottsville United Methodist Church.
David will be remembered for his dedication, love, and hard work. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of kindness and resilience. He will be missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by a daughter, Amy Laughead-Riese (Tony); son, Dave Laughead, Jr., brother, Donald Laughead (Dixie), nephew, Scott Laughead (Nellie) and niece, Regina Priester (Ken).
