During the month of February, the Arcanum Public Library is here to share some of their favorite things they love with the community.
Come and enjoy sharing in the fun at our Community Euchre Night happening on February 3rd from 6:00-7:30PM, as well as the children’s programs of After School Program on Tuesdays from 3:45-4:30PM and Storytime on Thursdays at 10:00AM.
They are looking forward to sharing creativity with a Craft Day on February 9th. At 1:00PM there will be an Adult Only Junk Jewelry Craft, and then at 5:30PM there will be a Valentine Canvas Painting Craft. Be sure to sign up at the front desk. (937-692-8484) Space is limited for both.
They are excited to share the love of learning new things at the library, which includes the upcoming Weather Program Series with the Darke County Parks Department. The first program “Nature’s Forecast,” is happening on February 24th at 6:00PM, and the second program, “Science of Storms,” will be on March 24th at 6:00PM. Be sure to plan to be there to learn and discuss how to prepare and understand the natural science of entering the upcoming severe weather season.
Of course they love sharing resources to check out with the community. The books, ebooks, and audiobooks available would be great to help you participate in their Adult Winter Reading Challenge. The Challenge is still open to register for, with weekly prizes, so sign up at the front desk.
Be sure to stop in during February as the staff enjoys sharing all that is available to help you find, learn, and enjoy the things you love as well.
