Darke County Sheriff Mark Whittaker reports that his office is investigating a suspicious death at 7244 Gettysburg-Webster Road in Adams Township, Bradford, Ohio.
On May 25, 2024 at approximately 1:11 PM, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a deceased elderly female found by friends. Darke County Deputies and Gettysburg Rescue responded to the scene and discovered the body of Betty “Patricia” Burton, age 75, inside her residence.
Investigators from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office and the Darke County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene to investigate. This is an active investigation and more information may be released as the investigation progresses.
