James Larry Linder 69 of Union City, IN passed away on May 17, 2024, at home. He was born on December 15, 1954, to the late James and Emily Owens Linder.
Larry loved racing, singing, shooting guns, fishing, and bonfires.
Survivors include his fiancé Julia Gerling of Union City, daughter Melissa Norby of Decatur, IN, Brother Bill Linder of Union City, OH, step children Jamie (Sue Ann) Wright of Union City, IN, Amanda (Andy) Abel of Winchester, IN, Ashley Gerling (Jessie Hicks) of Richmond, IN, Natasha Gerling of Winchester, IN, grandchildren Braxton (Grace) Wright of Terre Haute, IN, Brenden (Alex) Wright of Farmland, IN, Jaden Hindsley of Winchester, IN, Jesse Wright of Union City, Alexis Wright of Union City, Nieces Amy Gard, Emilie Pottkotter, and nephew Kyle (Megan) Linder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Vicky Vinson.
A celebration of life will be held on June 8, 2024, from 1-4 PM at the Community Room 111 N. Columbia St. Union City, IN.
