DAYTON, Ohio – Blood donors can help replenish the blood supply after the July 4th holiday and get a chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift live by donating Friday or Saturday, July 5-6 at the Solvita Dayton Center Taylor Swift Party.
Everyone who registers to donate receives a $15 e-gift card and the “From One to Many” beach towel. Donors will get free Kona Ice on Friday, July 5 and free Nothing Bundt Cakes Bundtinis on Saturday, July 6 at the Solvita Dayton Center, 349 S. Main St.

The Solvita Dayton Center will be decorated in Taylor Swift style as Solvita kicks off the donor drawing to win two tickets to the November 3 Taylor Swift show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Everyone who registers to donate July 1 – Sept. 1 at any Solvita blood drive or the Solvita Dayton Center is automatically entered in the Taylor Swift tickets drawing.
The July 4th holiday period is the greatest challenge of the year to the regional blood supply. Currently there is a critical shortage of type O and type B blood. Solvita has no blood collection on July 4th and only two community blood drives scheduled July 3-5.
