Dorothy Ann Hoeflich

March 9, 1928 — July 7, 2024

Dorothy Ann (Robinson) Hoeflich, 96, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024 at Ayden Health Care of Greenville.

She was born March 9, 1928, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Walter and Mary (Jenkins) Robinson.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel Hoeflich; son, Carl John Hoeflich; and siblings Paul Robinson, William Robinson, Nancy Labig, Donald Robinson, Robert Robinson, Mildred Knoff, Carol Everett.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Katie Hannah of Greenville, and Annie (Mark) Oiler of Piqua; her brother, Tom Robinson; her five grandchildren, Brian, David, Bethany (John Michael), Emily (Christopher), and Matthew (Katie); and seven great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Eleanor, Agnes, Amos, Linus, Robin, and Lily. 

Dorothy graduated from Covington High School, where she was a drum majorette. She attended Anderson University in Anderson, IN for a year. She worked a couple years at Hobart Corporation in Troy after graduation. Her primary occupation was as a housewife, caring for and raising her family. She was active in the Women’s VFW and in the American Legion with her husband. Dorothy was very involved in ministry for over 60 years, where everybody knew her as grandma Dorothy, working along side her husband who was a Pastor. 

Dorothy will be most remembered for kindness, love, and caring nature. She loved sewing, gardening, singing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Hershel Fee.

Guests may visit with the family from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM until the start of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
