Rebecca Sue “Becky” Everhart, age 77 of Palestine, Ohio passed away at 12:30 AM Saturday July 20, 2024 at the Troy Health & Rehab Center Troy, Ohio. Becky was born June 10, 1947 in Mercer County Ohio and the daughter of the late Donald and Wavelene (Riegel) Smith.
Becky was retired having work at the Tri-Village School in the cafeteria and also at the Kessler Sports Shop of Richmond, Indiana. She was a former member of the V.F.W., American Legion and the Eagles Lodge all of Union City. Becky also enjoyed spending time working in her flower garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Donny Everhart in 2005 and her brother Terry Smith.
She is survived by her husband Tom R. Everhart of Palestine. They were married March 16, 1968. Also son Lee T. Everhart of Palestine; grandchildren Tommy Everhart, Sam Everhart and D.J. Everhart; great grandchildren Raiden Everhart and Jaxon Everhart as well as 3 nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday July 25, 2024 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Rosie Colvin officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery Palestine, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Thursday July 25, 2024 from 12 Noon until time of the services in the funeral home.
