On February 5, 2026, Darke County Deputies responded to a two‑vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 36 East and Gettysburg Southern Road. Gettysburg Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates that a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Tegan Warner, 29, of Greenville, was traveling westbound on U.S. 36 East, when she went to turn onto Gettysburg Southern Road. The Pacifica struck a 2005 Dodge Caravan driven by Travis Strong, 50, of Union City. Mr. Strong had been stopped on Gettysburg Southern Road, waiting to cross U.S. 36 East.
Following the collision, both vehicles traveled across the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Mrs. Warner was transported to Wayne Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Mr. Strong reported no injuries at the scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
