The Darke County Animal Shelter has 6 new dogs available for adoption.
They got the Bordatella and Parvo/Lepto/Distemper vaccines and are heartworm negative, dewormed and microchipped.
The Shelter’s visiting hours are Monday-Friday 8am-11:45 am and 1 pm-4pm. Saturday only by appointment. The Shelter is located at 5066 County Home Rd. Greenville, OH 45331 and you can reach them at 937-547-1645
Sargent came to us as an owner surrender. We are told Sargent is a 1 year and 7-month-old German Shepherd Mix. Sargent Owner’s told us that he is good with big dogs, loves to play ball and is housebroken. Sargent had not been around kids or cats. Sargent is a nervous boy here at the shelter so he will need someone who can give him time to warm up. He also will need someone who can handle his size as he does weigh in at 95lb. Sargent is learning how to walk on a leash. Sargent doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Sargent did good for his exam where he weighs in at 95 lbs. Say hello to Oxford! We believe Oxford is a 3-year-old Boxer/Lab Mix. Oxford did come in with his brothers and sister. Oxford’s owners told us that Oxford is great with kids, cats, dogs, farm animals and has been an outside dog. Oxford doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Oxford can be a little shy at first but does warm up over time. Oxford like to eat treats and enjoys being outside. Oxford did great for his exam where he weighs in at 53 lbs. Meet this sweet girl, Precious! We believe Penelope is 2-year-old female Boxer/Lab Mix. Precious did come in with her brothers and sister. Precious’s owners told us that Penelope is great with kids, cats, dogs, farm animals and has been an outside dog. Precious doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Precious like to eat treats. Precious did great for her exam where she weighs in at 48 lbs. Give a warm welcome to Dazzle! We believe Dazzle is 8 months old female Boxer/Lab Mix. Dazzle did come in with her brothers and sister. Dazzle’s owners told us that Dazzle is great with kids, cats, dogs, farm animals and has been an outside dog. Dazzle doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Dazzle like to eat treats. Dazzle did great for her exam where she weighs in at 34 lbs. Ace is a 5-year-old neutered male Heeler/Jack Russell Mix that is extremely curious, friendly and tips the scales at 23 pounds. He love treats, and people, we are told he good with other dogs and children. He did great for his exam and bathWelcome Cutie! We believe Cutie is 11 weeks old, female Boxer/Lab mix. Cutie did come in with her brothers and sister. Cutie’s owners told us that Cutie is great with kids, cats, dogs, farm animals and has been an outside dog. Cutie doesn’t mind the other dogs here at the shelter! Cutie like to sleep, play, give puppy kisses and love eat treats. Cutie did great for her exam where she weighs in at 26lbs.
