DCCA recognizes the Harry D. Stephens Memorial Trust Fund’s grant award for DCCA’s 2024-2025 Music, Music, Music – AND MORE! Season

Darke County Center for the Arts recognizes the Harry D. Stephens Memorial Trust Fund’s grant award for DCCA’s 2024-2025 Music, Music, Music – AND MORE! Season and long-time support of the local non-profit arts council. Through the generosity of this foundation DCCA continues to make a positive impact on our community.  “We thank Harry D. Stephens Memorial Trust Fund for recognizing the importance and necessity of our organization not only providing high quality and professional arts experiences but also working to continue DCCA’s legacy & mission of promoting & encouraging inclusive & accessible cultural enrichment,” shared Andrea Jordan, DCCA’s Executive Director.

“Over the past 34 years the Harry D. Stephens Memorial Trust Fund has distributed over $2 million to the benefit of Greenville area residents,” shared Dianna Wagner, President of Harry D. Stephens Memorial Trust Fund. Current Trust Fund Committee members include Dianna Wagner, President, Scott Zumbrink, Greg Zechar, Sue Holzapfel, and Joe Van Vickle.

Support from the Harry D. Stephens Memorial Fund has contributed greatly to DCCA’s ability to continue and expand arts programs while also working with Greenville City Schools ensuring the preservation of the artistic integrity of Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall as an important cultural center in our rural community. DCCA programs include an Artists Series, Family Theatre Series, Coffee House Series, Darke County Art Trail, Anna Bier Gallery, Arts In Education programs which presents a professional performing artist to every grade level in the Darke County Public Schools. Plus, annual summer events BBQ & Blues, Make Music Darke County, and Missoula Children’s Theatre weeklong student theater camp. Last season DCCA presented 55 events across Darke County serving over 20,000 attendees.

Distributions of the interest income from the trust are made semi-annually each year, in June and December. Information and application forms to receive funds from the trust can be obtained from Flinn & Detling Law Group offices at 421 Public Square, Greenville.
