LIMA- “We kne w this was not going to be easy.”

Those were the words of Ansonia coach Adam Hall in a pre-game interview before facing Marion Local Friday night in a 61-0 loss in tournament action.

It didn’t take the Flyers long to strike when the Flyers took the opening kickoff 73 yards for the  score.

At that point, the only thing left to be determined was the final score.

By the end of the half, the Flyers held a commanding lead.

On the night, the Tigers never came close to a score,  only gaining 19 yards of total offense on the night.

With the loss, the Tigers season ended with a 11-2 mark and a WOAC championship

With the victory, the Flyers remain undefeated and will face a MAC foe, the Minister Wildcats next week.
