Darke County Center for the Arts Family Theatre Series featuring shows that entertain the entire family from toddlers to grandparents will open its 2024-2025 season with Reindeer Games, a unique interactive performance from the The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. The show will be presented at Henry St. Clair Memorial Hall in Greenville on Sunday, December 8 at 2 p.m. According to David Warner, DCCA’s Artistic Director for the Performing Arts, Reindeer Games will feature audience members who are recruited to showcase their talents in a series of holiday-themed games, songs, and commercials hosted by Santa’s reindeer Dasher, Comet, and Prancer; however, there are no losers in these games, only delightful surprises.
Mr. Warner explained that Reindeer Games will be enjoyed by audiences of all ages, but is ideal for those in grades PreK through 8.Launched as an independent non-profit entity in 1947, The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati has reached thousands of delighted audience members with its original plays which in addition to being presented by TCT On Tour, also performs in its Main Stage performances in its home town, Cincinnati.

Additionally, the Ohio Arts Council helps fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.

Box 718, Greenville, Ohio 45331, by calling 937-547-0908, or by making an appointment to visit DCCA’s office on the third floor of Greenville Public Library; office hours are 1pm – 4 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday. Tickets may also be purchased at the front desk of Greenville Public Library, 520 Sycamore Street. If any remain by showtime, tickets will also be sold at the Memorial Hall Box Office prior to the show; the Box Office opens at 1 p.m.
