Doris Holsapple, beloved mother and grandmother, age 90 of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
She was born on March 15, 1934 in Greenville, Ohio to the late George and Nellie (Baker) Bertram.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dwaine Richard Holsapple; daughter, Lola Mae Jessup; 1 grandchild; 1 great grandchild; and six sisters.
Those left to cherish Doris’ memory include her daughter, Karen Ross (John); son, Edward Jessup; grandchildren, Jered Ross and Jene Riffell (Quenton); and five great grandchildren, Sophie, Aliyah, Isaac, Isaiah, and Elijah.
Doris worked for over 20 years as a nurses assistant at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville. She also worked for over 15 years as a coordinator for the Greenville Parks and Recreation. Doris belonged to the shuffle board club and also attended Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville. She enjoyed flowers and making flowers arrangements, collecting antique dishes, drawing, painting, and music. More than anything, family meant the world to Doris and always came first. Doris put her family and faith above anything and everything. She was spiritually rich and that gave her a caring heart, she would share and give whatever she could to those in need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Triumphant Christian Center in Doris’s name, 1129 Southtowne Ct, Greenville, OH 45331, Everheart Hospice, or Tribute Funeral Homes to help offset funeral expenses.

A celebration of Doris’s Life for family and friends will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 5, 2024 at Triumphant Christian Center, 1129 Southtowne Ct, Greenville, OH 45331 with Pastor Sam Shilot officiating and Debbie Shilot ministering music.
