Randy D. Fourman

February 21, 1952 – January 16, 2025

Randy Dean Fourman, 72 of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Thursday January 16, 2025, at 11:02 AM at Wayne Healthcare. Randy was born February 21, 1952, in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Gerald L. and Catherine (Brown) Fourman.

Randy was a 1971 graduate of Arcanum High School; he served his country in the Army National Guard; he owned and operated Randy Fourman Construction for 35 plus years. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church; he was a former 4H advisor; he enjoyed woodworking, tinkering in the barn, attending the jamboree in New Paris, gardening especially sweet corn, traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with is grandchildren helping them with their 4H projects and attending their sporting events.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon Kaye (Rismiller) Fourman on February 12, 2018, whom he married April 14, 1973; his brothers, Donald H., and Richard L. Fourman, his sister, Phyllis J. Webster; his brother-in-law, Neil Webster, and his sister-in-law, Carolyn Fourman.

Randy is survived by his children and spouses Krista K. and William Unger of Arcanum, Kimberlee and Bradley Freeman of Greenville; his grandchildren, Kylee E. Freeman, Brayden A, Freeman, and Kennedy D. Freeman; his brothers and sisters in law, Marvin Fourman of Arcanum, Delbert M. and Edna Fourman of Arcanum, Larry A. and Deborah Fourman of Arcanum, Elvin L. Fourman of New Paris, Ohio; his sister in law, Sue Fourman of Greenville; his special friend, Marian Eley of New Madison; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in laws.

Services will be held on Friday January 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Star, Ohio with Pastor Alliyah Blakeley officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday January 23, 2025, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne Healthcare Foundation AED Fund, St. John Lutheran Church, or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
