Each year at its Two Days in May Conference on Victim Assistance, the Ohio Attorney General’s Office presents three awards designed to recognize the outstanding work being done to empower victims and survivors of crime in Ohio.
The 2025 edition of the conference – themed “Every Step a Victory” – is scheduled this year for May 19-20 at the Hilton Downtown Columbus, the second year in its new location.
Attorney General Dave Yost and his Crime Victim Services Section are seeking nominations for these honors:
- Promising Practice Award
- Robert Denton Special Achievement Award
- Special Courage Award
Eligible for consideration are individuals and/or programs of any public or private nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist, protect or empower victims of crime. The award winners will be recognized May 20 during a conference luncheon.
Specifics about the criteria for each award and the process can be found on the nomination form. All entries must be submitted electronically to TDIM@OhioAGO.gov and must be received by close of business on Feb. 14, 2025.
Questions can be directed to Holly Zachariah Andrews in the Crime Victims Services Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office at Holly.Andrews@OhioAGO.gov or 614-216-4909.
